Jake’s the dad, Andi’s sis says

CEBU, Philippines - What is up with these Mo Twister podcasts that induce celebrities to drop bombshells and blurt out secrets they normally wouldn’t in other interviews?

In a September 22 episode of the polarizing Mo’s “Good Times With Mo Twister,” Max Eigenmann – the half-sister of actress Andi Eigenmann– revealed that Jake Ejercito is in fact the biological father of the actress’ daughter Ellie. It can be recalled that in 2011, Andi pointed at ex-boyfriend Albie Casiño as the father of her child.

Max’s mother is Bing Pimentel, while Andi’s is Cannes Best Actress winner Jaclyn Jose. Their father is the late actor Mark Gil.

In a brief part of the almost two-hour podcast hosted by the controversial radio DJ, Mo asked his co-host Max (another co-host was Benj Mudie) on her take about the on-off spat between exes Andi and Jake. “It doesn’t bother me, whatever. They’re always like that,” Max said.

Mo continued by quipping that he liked the two as a couple, to which Max seconded, “Yeah, me too. And you know that he’s the father of my niece, right?”

At first, Mo took the statement to mean that Jake has been acting as the non-biological dad of Ellie (who is turning five years old in November), in the absence of one.

But Max corrected him, saying, “No, no. Yes, he is [the biological father]. They did a test. Yeah, he’s the dad. He’s the dad. They’re co-parenting. That’s why he always posts photos of my niece.”

Just last month, Andi and Jake exchanged nasty messages on Twitter, which was triggered when the son of former president Joseph Estrada insinuated in a Twitter post that Andi was using him to drum up publicity for her film “Camp Sawi.”

Max further revealed that Andi is currently dating a surfer. “My sister has a boyfriend for like a year now, the surfer guy, who’s the younger brother of my friend, coincidentally.”

With this outright revelation coming from no less than Andi’s kin, the formerly pilloried Albie can now finally prove to his bashers that he wasn’t the bad guy after all.– VAB (FREEMAN)
