Kitchie Nadal ties knot in P799 gown

CEBU, Philippines - Kitchie Nadal has proven that you don't have to spend too much to find the perfect wedding gown.

 The 34-year-old OPM singer recently tied the knot with her Spanish boyfriend Carlos Lopez, wearing a wedding gown that only cost her P799. She found the gown in a boutique in a Makati City mall, her friend Niña Rosario said in her blog.

 Rosario, a rock journalist who shot photos of the "Huwang na Huwag Mong Sasabihin" singer wearing the ready-to-wear gown, said that the dress fitted on Kitchie's first try.

 "The story about her dress floored everyone and this should show all brides around the world that sometimes it's about the woman and not the dress," wrote Rosario.

 Kitchie also did her own makeup.

 The autumn-themed wedding happened in Hacienda Isabella in Tagaytay last February 26, while a post-wedding celebration was held in Alta Vista, Cebu. She reportedly met her husband in Cebu. - PhilStar News Service
