(The Freeman) - January 11, 2013 - 12:00am

CEBU, Philippines - This Saturday (January 12), find out the real life story of Lucy Aroma, the woman who committed suicide in LRT 1 EDSA Station last year. Kapuso dramatic actress Sunshine Dizon marks her return to acting as she plays the role of Lucy Aroma.

Completing the cast are LJ Reyes, Ervic Vijandre, Jace Flores, Lucho Ayala, Jay Gonzaga, Racquell Villavicencio and Archie Adamos. This episode is directed by Andoy Ranay.

Lucy is the eldest in the family. She was religious, hard working, obedient, smart, and responsible and she grew up in a conservative family. However, last year all things changed including her behavior and outlook in life. Last August 30, 2012, Lucy decided to end her life by jumping in front of an incoming train inside the LRT 1 EDSA Station.

Lucy’s family lives a simple life. Ever since she and her siblings were kids, Lucy was the one who took care of them because their parents were always out working.

Even though they were struggling financially, Lucy managed to finish high school. But her parents discouraged her to continue college because they couldn’t afford it. Lucy sacrificed her dream of becoming a lawyer so she can help her parents bring her younger siblings to school. Lucy obeyed the wish of her parents and she even got a job to financially support the whole family.

However, problems and obstacles arose that triggered the change in Lucy’s actions and behavior. Her siblings tried and did everything to help take care of Lucy. Until one day, they found out in the news and on TV that their sister had committed suicide.

Find out the real story behind the life of Lucy Aroma in Magpakailanman this Saturday right after Kap’s Amazing Stories only on GMA-7. (FREEMAN)
