Pag-IBIG still perfecting its online service system

CEBU, Philippines — Pag-IBIG Fund is now working on perfecting a system that would enable its members to do transactions online.

This was the pronouncement made by Pag-IBIG Fund chief executive officer (CEO) Acmad Rizaldy Moti in his recent visit to Cebu, saying the state-run agency targets to complete online loan application system very soon.

Just like other government agencies, Pag-IBIG is committed to complete its online service, for loan applications the soonest time possible.

Likewise, Pag-IBIG is also increasing the number of branches to provide convenience to members.

From 28 Pag-IBIG branches, the fund now has 123 branches nationwide and will open more in the coming months, Moti said.

It also recently decentralized its services to reach out to more member borrowers. Now with 123 branches, Pag-IBIG services will now be accessible even to those living in far areas.

In fact, Pag-IBIG is also adapting the trend of partnering with third party collecting agents, like M.Lhuillier, as one of their registered collecting agents.

This means that members don't have to go to a Pag-IBIG Fund office or partner banks, as neighborhood collecting agents like M.Lhuilier can now accept Pag-IBIG Fund payments. (FREEMAN)
