Cebu Bionic Builder celebrates 41st year

CEBU, Philippines — Construction supplier Cebu Bionic Builder Supply Inc. celebrates its 41st year in the industry yesterday, September 26.

The  homegrown company was first to introduce a finishing showroom in Cebu back in 1991. Ahead of its time, founder Bonifacio Sia brought in European brands that offer a new breed of quality and design that surpassed its local and Asian counterparts.

Continuing Bonifacio Sia’s legacy is his son, Buck Sia, the principal architect of Zubu Associates Design Services, and owner of iTrade, the operating arm of AIS, a subsidiary of Cebu Bionic Supply, Inc. As an architect, Buck is well-versed with the needs and requirements of the design industry and AIS consumers can expect no less in the brands Buck himself handpicked.

“We also like to focus on few specific brands. There were many opportunities to work with multi-brands but we prefer to deal with brands that we have worked with already. We choose the brands not only for the design but, more importantly, we review their competencies,” says Buck.

He strongly believes that AIS offers just that and more, having an ample supply of stocks available that can quickly be delivered to clients.

Some of iTrade's prestigious brands are APE and Saloni, which are Spanish tile brands; SANIFLO, a French  brand offering macerator pump technology; CRISTINA, a premier Italian company that offers sanitary fittings; and GENESIS, a UK brand offering a full range of floor and wall edge protection, transitions, and tool systems to create the perfect finish.

Following the launching of iTrade's showroom, Architectural & Interior Source (AIS), located at Vibo Place, Escario St., Brgy. Capitol, Cebu City, September last year, is yet another newly opened branch, AIS Outlet Store, at Labogon, Mandaue City on  July 21 this year. This branch serves as the company's retail outlet for clients in the northern part of Cebu.
