CEBU, Philippines — Cebu-based immigration consultancy firm, PinoyCare Visa Center, Inc. (PCVC), made it as one of the country's top social media utilizers in advancing its business and reaching customers across the globe.

“We recognized the importance of engaging our target markets in the social media like Facebook especially, nowadays when most people already get information from the different social media sites,” said Prisca Niña Mabatid, following the company's recognition as The Star Brand Visa Consultancy Service Provider in the Philippines Award “for its exceptional usage of Social Media Platforms that positively impact the society and the consumer as well," by the Philippine Social Media Examiner, Events and Marketing Services Inc. (PSME) and Sagip-Hirap Charity Foundation, Inc.

Mabatid, a Cebuana entrepreneur was also given the Filipino Star Achiever award in Business Management and Entrepreneurship for leading her company in employing exceptional social media practice.

PSME is an independent online data and research entity that aims to provide readily available information that may help individuals and even businesses discover how to make good use of social media platforms.

PSME said this kind of event is a fitting recognition for individuals and companies that have achieved immensely and made exceptional use of social media to positively impact the society.

Mabatid said her company has put in place a dedicated team that will provide information about the company's new projects, and partnerships among others to provide better consultancy services for Filipinos who want to migrate or study in Canada and New Zealand.

This means that its social media service is manned by competent and growing number of people to immediately interact with customers and clients regardless of locations.

In the pipeline, Mabatid added that she will continue to explore existing online platforms and to grow her other businesses and adopt the same strategy she employed in PCVC.

"With the kind of success that we have achieved in PinoyCare aided by the social media, we’d also be pushing for the new business in the different online platforms,” she concluded. (FREEMAN)
