NCA vs UFCC slated at Ynares
MANILA, Philippines - Two rival groups – the Ultimate Fighting Cock Championships (UFCC) and National Cockers Alliance (NCA) – clash in a bigtime stagfest at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig Monday.
Dubbed “AA Cobra Big Event 9-Stag Derby”, the three -day event set Oct. 24, 25 and 27 , is a rare gathering of UFCC and NCA stalwarts invited by host Charlie “Atong” Ang.
The format calls for a 2-stag elims (Oct. 24), 3 -stag semifinals (Oct. 25) and 4 -stag finals (Oct. 27).
The same format will be used in the “World Pitmasters 9-cock International Derby” in January.
Participants must submit five stags on Oct. 23 (for elims and semifinals) and four stags on Oct. 26 (for finals), 2-6 p.m. only.
Only Bakbakan stags from International Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (FIGBA) and Digmaan stags from Pambansang Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (PFGB-Digmaan, Inc.) will be allowed.
