CEBU, Philippines - Texas Creamery recently opened its second scoop station in Cebu that serves Blue Bell Ice Cream at the 2nd level of SM City Cebu Northwing.

Its first Cebu branch, which opened last December 2013, is located at the 3rd floor of Ayala Center Cebu Expansion wing.

Texas Creamery is led by a dynamic team comprised of President Jeff Puno, and sisters, Vice Presidents Aina Puno-Sanchez and Ebe Puno handling operations and marketing respectively. The increasing awareness of the Filipinos on international brands led them to bring in Blue Bell Ice Cream from the USA.

“Being able to understand the evolving tastes and palates of consumers in the Philippines, Texas Creamery was set up to cater to the desire of Filipinos for new food experiences and exposure to global flavors,” said Jeff Puno. “In fact, we are the only scoop shop in Southeast Asia that serves Blue Bell Ice Cream.” he added.

Texas Creamery offers exclusive Blue Bell Ice Cream flavors and single-serve frozen snacks not found in retailers. Their products range from numerous year-round and rotational ice cream flavors such as currently featured Sea Salt Caramel, White Chocolate Almond, and Pistachio Almond. They also sell frozen snacks such as the Cotton Candy Bar, as well as Ice Cream Sandwiches that come in 3 variants - Vanilla, Cookies ‘n Cream, and Neapolitan flavor, which is a combination of three of their most popular flavors- Dutch chocolate, homemade vanilla and strawberry ice cream wedged between soft chocolate crackers. These items complement their best-selling Country Cookie, Blue Bell’s signature homemade vanilla ice cream sandwiched in between chocolate chip cookies.

For those that are more health conscious and have dietary requirements, their Vanilla and Strawberry Frozen Yogurt variants contain the same health benefits as refrigerated dairy yogurt while still retaining its delicious taste. For those on a restricted sugar, fat and calorie diet, No Sugar Added flavors in decadent Dutch Chocolate, Strawberries ‘n Cream and Vanilla are low in fat with only 3 grams of fat and 100 to 110 calories per serving.

Blue Bell Ice Cream originated from the little town of Brenham in Texas and is the number three selling branded ice cream in the U.S.—despite the fact that it is only sold in 23 states.

Blue Bell Ice Cream was first launched in the Philippines in Cebu in 2013 and is currently also sold in pints and half pints in major supermarkets and partner establishments in Cebu, Metro Manila, South Luzon and Boracay.  Its scoop station offshoot,  Texas Creamery, now has a total of 4 branches in the Philippines. Aside from the two in Cebu, they recently opened two branches in Metro Manila- in Robinsons Galleria and the City Walk Mall in Eastwood. More branches are expected to be opened in the coming months.
