‘Arrivederci,’ beloved Ambassador!

MANILA, Philippines — The elegant Filipiniana-inspired Forbes Park residence of Ambassador Bienvenido Tantoco Sr. served as the venue for a farewell dinner for outgoing Italian Ambassador Massimo Roscigno and his wife Agnes.
The well-loved ambassador has ended his four-year tour of duty to the Philippines.
The evening showcased the close ties between the Tantoco family and Italy on account of the extensive business partnerships between Rustan’s and Stores Specialists Inc. and leading Italian brands.
Apart from the business ties, the Roscignos have become good friends of the Tantoco family, and in addition, Nedy Tantoco is president of the Philippine-Italian Association, which has collaborated with Ambassador Roscigno on the many cultural and social projects he initiated.
