Audermars Piguet launches the new Royal Oak Chronograph @ Shang at the Fort

MANILA, Philippines - Audemars Piguet celebrated in Cuban panache the grand launch of the Royal Oak Chronograph collection at Samba of Shangri-La at the Fort.
Guests were enthralled to be part of a vibrant, ravishing Havana night hosted by the Lucerne Group and Audemars Piguet. They came in bright hued, tropical prints to mingle and party under the stars of a sultry, bewitching Havana night.
The stunning collection launched in the Philippines include seven models that feature a fresh, two-tone dial design with several new yet subtle details: chronograph counters of increased size that expand at 9 o-clock and 3 o-clock, shorter but wider hour-makers, additional luminescent coating for a better readability of the hour and new typeset and transfers. These design details are showcased in a wide combination of finishes, led by four versions in pink gold, which are available on a matching pink gold bracelet or an alligator strap and with a choice of brown or blue, ‘Grande Tapisserie’ dials.
This year’s new range of chronographs harks back to a much-loved look first seen in 2008. Just like the vintage examples from the 1930s to the 1960s, the dials of the Royal Oak Chronograph have always been thoughtfully designed.
For over 80 years, the brand has been exceptionally crafting chronograph wristwatches with creatively designed dials. In 2017, the first Royal Oak Chronograph is celebrating its 20th anniversary as first introduced in 1997.
