MANILA, Philippines - Classes at the main campus of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Manila were suspended following a bomb threat Tuesday.
Reports said that the school officials of the state university decided to cancel classes after an employee at the Office of the President received a text message, claiming a bomb has been planted inside the building at the Mabini campus in Sta. Mesa, Manila.
The PUP administration quickly advised all the students and faculty members to evacuate the building around noon, reports said.
Anti-bomb squads are now scouring and clearing the six-storey building inside the PUP compound.
