ABS-CBN launches special events tent at Vertis North

MANILA, Philippines — ABS-CBN Corp. and Ayala Malls have launched a tent venue within the Ayala Vertis North Complex in Quezon City for special events, live shows, product launches, exhibits and concerts.

The media and entertainment company said in a statement the Vertis Tent is now open for special events of private individuals and companies.

ABS-CBN business development head Paolo Pineda said the Vertis Tent is the first large capacity air-conditioned tent venue in the northern part of Metro Manila.

The Vertis Tent has a seating capacity of 1,200 and a standing capacity of 2,000 individuals.

 “We knew there would be a need for this type of venue for the general public, corporate events, Ayala events, and of course for ABS-CBN. The ABS-CBN Vertis Tent is here to serve your event needs whether personal or professional,” Pineda said.

Ayala Malls group head Rowena Tomeldan said the partnership for the tent venue project would allow them to provide space for social gatherings.

“Imagine all types of events we can stage here where we can connect the Filipinos and give them a different experience,” she said.

After the Vertis Tent, Pineda said ABS-CBN is set to launch another project with Ayala Malls.

“Last year we decided to open the first ever retail entertainment experience in the country at the successful Trinoma Mall across, and this store is scheduled to open within the first half of 2018,” he said.

Through the experience store, visitors can take part of ABS-CBN’s shows by playing roles.

Visitors of the experience store can also purchase ABS-CBN merchandise and interact with stars.

ABS-CBN is primarily involved in television, radio broadcasting, as well as production of programs.

It is also involved in providing cable TV and broadband service and has businesses interests in merchandising and licensing, mobile and online multimedia services, glossy magazine publishing, video and audio post production, overseas telecommunication services, money remittance, cargo forwarding, TV shopping services, theme park development and management, property management and food and restaurant services, and cinema management.
