Grab to accept Uber-accredited operators until Monday
MANILA, Philippines — Ride-sharing company Grab, or MyTaxi.PH, will only accept the applications of accredited drivers of suspended rival Uber Systems Inc. until Monday, August 21.
Grab is complying with the Land Transportation Franchise and Regulatory Board’s Resolution No. 19, which allows accredited Uber drivers to operate under transport networking companies Grab and U-Hop.
Grab said the accredited Uber transportation network vehicle service (TNVS) may submit their applications at the following places and times:
- Grab Wilcon Office - 12/F Wilcon IT Hub, 2251 Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
- Megatent Libis - Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. Ave, Quezon City (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
- One Esplanade - JW Diokno Blvd., Pasay City (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
TNVS drivers are required to comply with the following conditions:

Proof of accreditation issued by Uber

Proof of Insurance coverage as TNVS
LTFRB issued Resolution No. 19 last Thursday under the guidance of the Senate Committee on Public Services, which met with LTFRB and Uber representatives on Wednesday.
The board ordered the suspension of Uber’s accreditation for a month last Monday. It also directed the suspension of its online booking application for the same period.
Grab said it has seen a surge in demand for rides amid Uber’s suspension.
