Stocks, real estate still top areas for Phl investments

MANILA, Philippines -  The local stock market and the real estate sector are still the best investments for Filipinos wanting to build their personal wealth in a short period of time, according to Singapore’s top life coach Adam Khoo. 

“There’s a lot of potential because the Philippine population is growing and the economy is improving,” Khoo told the STAR in an interview, adding “the Philippine stock market is showing tremendous potential.’’

Khoo said  Filipinos should learn how to invest in the stock market amid the local equities market’s strong growth potential.

“There’s a lot of opportunities for people to become more successful and  prosperous. But they need strategies, they need the right mindset,” Khoo said. 

Khoo  recently held a seminar in the country titled “The Millionaire Code: Mastering the Insider Secrets of Wealth Creation, Investing and Everlasting Happiness.” 

Despite the seminar falling on the first day of the year’s longest weekend, several hundred Filipinos, all keen to build their personal wealth, bought tickets to hear and learn wealth creation secrets from Khoo himself.

Khoo said he had decided to bring his seminars to the Philippines after seeing an increasing number of Filipinos going to Singapore just to attend his talks or different programs or courses. “We have been training people for 15 years,” Khoo said.

“Increasingly, there have been more people from the Philippines coming to our courses in Singapore,” he said.

Khoo said that among the audience in the Millionaire Code seminar are wealthy businessmen who still want to continue learning wealth creation strategies. “People may not realize that successful people are successful because they want to keep learning, they want to keep growing. And no matter how successful, they want to keep learning to maintain their success, and become better,” Khoo said.
