La Salle golf slated Feb. 27

MANILA, Philippines - Slots are still available for the 14th Bro. Benedict Cup, an annual fund-raiser set Feb. 27 at the Aoki course of Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club.

Organized by the De La Salle Alumni Association (DLSAA), the tournament is in honor of the late Br. Josiah Benedict Lidinsky, who managed the alumni affairs of DLSU for almost five decades.

Proceeds will help support the One La Salle Scholarship Endowment Fund, which aims to support 20 percent of the student population in the 17 De La Salle District Schools as full scholars.

Handsome trophies, raffle, door prizes, fun awards and giveaways await all participants in Class A, B, C, Seniors, Super Seniors, Ladies and Guest divisions. Alumni of all 17 De La Salle District Schools are welcome to join.

Entry fee of P3,000, inclusive of green fee, giveaways, twin-share golf cart, lunch buffet, raffle and door prizes. All pre-register and prepay the entry fee. Caddie fee is free.

Free beer will be provided by San Miguel, as well as free Tres Cepas Light Brandy and Carlo Rossi wines from Emperador Distillers.
