Cebgo cancels two flights due to bad weather
MANILA, Philippines – The Manila International Airport Authority on Tuesday announced that two domestic flights had been canceled due to bad weather.
Cebu Pacific subsidiary CebGo kept two of its flights grounded despite the state weather bureau lifting storm warning signals as Typhoon Nina traverses the West Philippine Sea while heading out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
The two flights were headed to and from Naga City, Bicol, which was greatly affected hit by the typhoon.
On Monday, over 300 flights were canceled amid the onslaught of Nina. The typhoon made eight landfalls over southern Luzon provinces including Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Quezon Province, Marinduque, Batangas and Lubang Island.
