MANILA, Philippines — At least four domestic flights were grounded on Sunday afternoon due to bad weather.
In its advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority announced that four flights to and from Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte were suspended. These flights were carried by Philippine Airlines Express and Cebu Pacific.
The state weather bureau issued a rainfall warning at 1:30 p.m. that there will be light to moderate rains affecting some provinces in Mindanao. It advised the public to take precautionary measures against possible flashfloods, landslides, lightning and strong winds.
