CDU tankers shine in Medlympics
CEBU, Philippines - Cebu Doctors' University reigned supreme in the Medlympics2016 swimming event the other day at the Cebu City Sports Center.
The CDU tankers collected a total of 121 points to outlast the other participating schools.
CDU's men’s squad garnered 66 points to top their division followed by the Cebu Institute of Medicine with 37 points and the University of the Visayas-Gullas College of Medicine with 34 points.
In the distaff side, CDU registered 66 points followed by CIM with 47 points and Matias H. Aznar-Medicine with 35 points.
CDU missed only four out of 19 golds at stake.
Among those who figure prominently in CDU’s triumph were Louie Kierulf, John Gandianco, Gian Gonzaga, Mary Goyenechea and Char Lynne Rentuza. They also dominated some relay events. (FREEMAN)
