Ortigas to finalize 5-year masterplan
MANILA, Philippines – Ortigas & Co., the premier property developer of some of Metro Manila’s affluent residential enclaves and mixed-use projects, is finalizing a five-year master plan for its four major parcels of land.
“We have four major land parcels. The two biggest ones are Greenhills Shopping Center and Tiendesitas or Frontera Verda. The two others are Capitol Commons and Kalye Industriya,” said Ayala Land Inc. CFO Jaime Ysmael, who took over the position of president and CEO of the Ortigas & Co.
Ysmael leads a new management team from the Ayala and SM Groups after the two parties made their entry in 2014.
For the Greenhills commercial area, Ysmael said the company would build new residential condominiums and a hotel.
The redevelopment of the 16-hectare Greenhills complex will be done over a 10-year period.
Ortigas hopes to complete the masterplan for the redevelopment of Greenhills by the end of the month or first week of June.
Another development is the Frontera Verde along Libis wherein the company will develop BPO buildings. The size of the property is also 16 hectares.
