CREBA elects new chairman, president

MANILA, Philippines – Noel Toti M. Cari?o and Charlie A. V. Gorayeb will lead the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders’ Associations Inc. (CREBA) as national chairman and national president, respectively, for the years 2016 to 2017. They were elected during the association’s annual general membership meeting and elections held in Mandaluyong City last Jan. 28.

Carino, elected congressman of Pasig City during the 13th Congress, served two consecutive terms as executive vice-president of CREBA from 2012-2013 and national president from 2014-2015.

Gorayeb has served nine terms as CREBA national president. He has likewise served five terms as chairman of the board. These distinctions earned him the CREBA Hall of Fame Award. He was conferred lifetime recognition by the ASEAN Association for Planning and Housing (AAPH) in 1988, of which he serves as vice-president for the Philippines. Gorayeb was appointed international director for 2016 of the Chicago-based National Association of Realtors (NAR) which chose CREBA as its exclusive cooperating association in the Philippines since 2011.
