Legal database firm seeks wider client base
MANILA, Philippines - MyLegalWhiz, a cloud-based subscription platform that offers legal knowledge database and research assistance, aims to expand its clientele among corporations, government agencies and individual subscribers in need of extensive legal knowledge.
“The company has not only invented a new way of accessing legal knowledge and basic legal services, it has also created a new industry. This is the legal intelligence industry that encompasses legal education, practice and services,” said Dexter Feliciano, the lawyer who founded MyLegalWhiz.
It was in 2013 when Feliciano set up the company, which has now accumulated a roster of clients ranging from law firms, law schools and many other subscribers, including non-lawyers.
Essentially, the company provides real time help to legal queries. It provides services to those who can’t afford a lawyer but needs quality legal assistance or just basic legal knowledge to help him on a legal predicament. All these services are available by just using one’s smartphone.
