SM Mall of Asia lights up Globamaze

-

MANILA, Philippines - As a premiere destination mall in the Asia-Pacific region, the SM Mall of Asia has been on the forefront of many innovations – the country’s first IMAX theater, the country’s only Olympic size ice skating rink, more than 750 shops and restaurants, and a spectacular view of scenic Manila Bay.

Just in time for the holidays, it recently lit up the iconic globe that has come to symbolize the mall. And Globamaze, as this new innovation is called, will forever change the landscape of outdoor media and entertainment.

Located at the rotunda at the southernmost tip of EDSA, the 26 diameter steel framed globe has welcomed customers to the SM Mall of Asia since it opened in 2006. And today, with Globamaze, it is one of the most spectacular LED displays in the region.

Globamaze is the first and only full global video display in Asia with its high resolution and full display graphics made possible by the LED’s 26,300 pieces of point lights. This cutting edge LED technology is among other things, weather-proof, has superior brightness, and a long lifetime.

More than anything else, it is eco-friendly with its low power consumption. It is nevertheless, a visual feast, with its effects and pyrotechnics. The light emission in a single wavelength of this technology achieves substantially greater color saturation than conventional lighting. That means more brilliant and radiant colors for electric light advertising.

Be amazed by the SM Mall of Asia’s Globamaze – a feat of engineering, and the product of the latest technology and imagination!
