Led by Marco Polo?Davao general manager?Dottie Würgler-Cronin?and director of sales and?marketing Pearl Peralta-?Maclang, the turnover?ceremony was held at the five-star hotel’s Sa- rangani room and was graced by the presence of key personalities like Halifax Davao Hotel, Inc. president Francis Ledesma, Wharf Hotels vice president for operations Philippe Caretti and PEF executive director Dennis Salvador. Kudos to Marco Polo Davao for its continued support for the protection and preservation of the Philippine Eagle!

A Win for Philippine Tourism

Philippine Travel Exchange (PHITEX) 2017 is the biggest ever, since its maiden staging in 1996, in terms of the number of both foreign and local participants. Organized by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and its marketing arm Tourism Promotions Board led by its COO Cesar Montano, the grand reception was held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City followed by a cocktail party at the Blue Leaf Filipinas in Parañaque City. PHITEX brings the foreign buyers and local sellers together in one-on-one and business-to-business meetings that yield inbound tourist volumes.
