Hermés expands Makati boutique

HERMÈS, THE FRENCH HIGH-FASHION LUXURY BRAND, has reopened its flagship store—with Hermes PhilippinesEric Festy, Store Specialist chair and CEO NedyTantoco and Nikki Huang Cecile and husband, French ambassador Thierry Mathou country manager Mario Katigbak at the helm—at Greenbelt 3 mall, Ayala Center, Makati. Clean lines, open spaces and a hint of traditional Hermès aesthetic characterize the much bigger, renovat- ed store. Customers will enjoy an unimpeded view while exploring the two levels of the high-end retailer via a transparent vertical lift. The L-shaped ground floor space is mainly dedicated to the brand’s equestrian collection and finely-made accessories and leather goods, including luggage, small leather goods, canvas and leather hand bags, shoes, women’s silk, enamel personal items, watches, and jew- elry. An area is particularly designed for women’s apparel, complete with fitting room and a separate washroom. What can be found on the first floor are the perfumery, the brand’s beach collection, men’s accessories and ready-to-wear collection, fitting room, and the posh VIP room. Occupying a large part of the open floor space on the ground floor is “La Maison” which carries the brand’s line of furni- ture and home accoutrements. Tucked into a corner of the Maison is the brand’s baby line. Seen at the launch were French ambassador Thierry Mathou and wife, Cecile, Hermès Asia South managing di- rector Eric Festy, Store Specialist chair and CEO NedyTantoco and president Anton Huang, and CriseldaLontok. Everyone just loved the French high-fashion luxury brand known for its use of the finest materials to make innovative yet timeless designs expertly crafted by artisans.
