Restaurant Hacks finally reached Parañaque City
PARAÑAQUE CITY, Philippines (As released) — Restaurant Hacks, a series of knowledge sharing conferences by Globe myBusiness and Zomato Philippines, has finally reached Parañaque City!
Held at one of the country’s most luxurious resorts, City of Dreams Manila, restaurant owners from Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa and Pasay were all invited to learn from the Philippines’ best industry thought leaders.
The event was opened by Zomato Philippines’ Country Manager, Anton Ojeda, who shared some precious insider information on restaurant and user trends based on Zomato data. He most importantly discussed the metro’s restaurant shutdown trends, most searched areas, cuisines, dishes–all key information for the owners in attendance.
The insightful talk was then followed by Wylie Datu of Unilever Food Solutions, presenting the Philippines’ consumer dining behavior, as well as the latest food innovations in the country. Mark Del Rosario, the founder and community director of the social media sensation, Let’s Eat Pare, shared tips and tricks on social media engagement and interaction.
Dani Gil, Brand Manager for Restaurant & Café Industry Solutions of Globe myBusiness, also shared digital solutions to help restaurant owners strengthen their services and hack business growth. RJ Ledesma, co-founder of Mercato Centrale, introduced the Mercato Ecosystem - a network of strategic partners that may assist food businesses to become sustainable, successful and scalable.
Finally, the program was closed by Burgers and Brewskies, Kessaku and YUMI’s co-founder, Donny Elvina, sharing his own day to day struggles as a restaurateur and how social media and digital solutions helped him build successful brands today.
The event was truly jam-packed! Restaurant owners definitely learned from the country’s Industry Thought Leaders, and went home with new Restaurant Hacks.
