MANILA, Philippines - Strategic Works, Inc. (Stratworks), one of the country’s leading independent marketing communications agencies, is this year’s most Anvil-awarded public relations agency after winning eight Anvil trophies for its clients during the 49th Anvil Awards held at the Grand Ballroom of the Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque City.
For longtime account Jollibee Foods Corporation, the agency bagged three Anvil Awards of Excellence for “Jollibee @ 35: Bringing Filipino Families Closer,” a year-long, multiplatform program that marked the fast-food chain’s milestone year; and “The Search for Inspiring Filipino Families: 3rd Jollibee Family Values Awards,” a campaign that reinforced Jollibee’s 35th-anniversary advocacy honoring the country’s exemplary Filipino families.
The agency also won an Anvil Award of Merit for Jollibee’s “Crowd Sourcing Success for Amazing Aloha,” a digital campaign that orchestrated all online channels and generated immense social media buzz for the successful reintroduction of the Amazing Aloha Burger.
For Unilever Philippines, the agency hauled an Anvil Award of Excellence and Anvil Award of Merit for the Unilever Sachet Recovery Program, which has successfully collected 15 million sachets, of which 4.7 million were shredded and converted into 44,000 cement pavers and hollow blocks that now serve as pavements and pathways in 30 public elementary schools.
It also won an Anvil Award of Merit for Unilever’s 2012 Vaseline Global Handwashing Day, a program launched via a televised celebration and nationwide school tours that have reached 500,000 kids, teaching them the proper way of handwashing to prevent diseases.
For digital media and services company ID8, Stratworks won an Anvil Award of Excellence for 8LIST.ph: A Website with its Pulse on the Modern Pinoy. Credited for “successfully reaching out to online Filipinos,” 8LIST.ph has been one of the fastest-growing and widely consumed content sites in the country today.
To date, Stratworks is on an eight-year winning streak, hauling a total of 35 Anvil trophies since joining the prestigious awards in 2007.
Considered the “Oscars” of the PR industry, the Anvil Awards is an annual competition held by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines to recognize exceptional PR programs and PR tools implemented in the previous year.
