MANILA, Philippines -- The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) is still waiting for roughly 24 percent of election returns from several provinces in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).
In its official website, the PPCRV said the 823 of the 2,556 clustered precincts or 24.36 percent in the provinces of Lanao del Sur, Tawi-Tawi, Basilan, Maguindanao, and Sulu have yet to transmitt the ERs to the PPCRV servers as of 8 p.m. last night.
The group has already received 68,978 of the 76,475 clustered precincts or 90.20 percent of the election returns.
The PPCRV is also waiting for the transmission of ERs from 14.51 percent of clustered precincts in the Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR). Other regions that still have to transmit more than 10 percent of ERs were Regions 4-b (10.36 percent), Region 9 (10.93 percent), Region 6 (10.15 percent), Region 7 (17.07 percent), Region 8 (12.60 percent), and Region 10(11.37 percent).
The PPCRV has resumed its operation yesterday after several youth and religious groups have signed up as volunteers to help encode results for the parallel count.
