CPP: AFP nahihibang sa pangakong uubusin ang NPA

MANILA, Philippines — Tulad ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, nahihibang na rin ang Armed Forces of the Philippines nang sabihing mangangalahati ang New People’s Army ngayong 2018, ayon sa Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP).

 “Much like its president, the AFP is delusional in saying that it will finish off the New People’s Army or in AFP Chief Rey Guererro’s reprise, reduce the NPA ‘by half’ by the middle of 2018,” pahayag ng CPP.

Sa tantsa ni Guerrero ay nasa 3,700 ang miyembro ng NPA.

Samantala, tinawag ng CPP si Duterte bilang “best recruiter” ng NPA, habang ang AFP ang “best supplier of arms for the armed revolution.”

Nagbabala rin sila sa kanilang tactical offensives upang makakuha pa ng mas maraming armas.

“Duterte’s triple wars of death and destruction against the Filipino and Moro people, as well as his anti-people, pro-oligarch and pro-imperialist policies, spell his doom,” sabi ng CPP.

“As such, Duterte is providing the New People’s Army and the revolutionary movement an ever more fertile ground for the people’s war to grow and prosper,” dagdag niya.

Nitong nakaraang buwan ay idineklara ni Duterte ang CPP-NPA bilang mga terorista kasunod ng pagkakakansela ng peace talks.
