’I Love Salam’, pinangunahan ni VM Joy B
Si QC Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte at dating DENR secretary Gina Lopez sa paglulunsad ng ‘I Love Salam’, na may layuning gawing isang model community ang Barangay Culiat ng naturang lungsod.
MANILA, Philippines — Pinangunahan ni QC Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte ang paglulunsad ng ‘I Love Salam Urban’ revitalization project sa tulong ng ‘I Love Foundation’ ni dating DENR Secretary Gina Lopez sa Barangay Culiat Quezon City.
Ang proyekto ay isang urban PPP endeavor na layuning gawing isang model community ang minsa’y naging notorious na Salam compound sa naturang barangay sa tulong ng pribadong sector.
“The underlying principle of the project is that can restore peace and order by providing a beautiful and orderly, clean and green environment as well providing opportunities for livelihood,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
Pinasalamatan din ni Vice Mayor Belmonte si Lopez sa ginawang pagtulong sa proyekto.
“Thank you Ms. Lopez for spearheading this project and for agreeing to work on the Salam Compound when I suggessted this a pilot for your foundation. The task seems difficult but with the cooperation and buy-in of the community itself nothing is impossible,” dagdag ni Belmonte.
Pinasalamatan din nito ang NEXgen Corporation sa pagkakaloob ng KFC food packs para sa mga kabataan ng Salam Compound makaraan ang paglulunsad ng I Love Salam urban revitalization project sa Culiat High School.
