Tugade pinasisibak sa MRT mess

MANILA, Philippines — Dapat nang sibakin ng administrasyon si Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade dahil sa sunud-sunod na aberya ng MRT 3.
“With the dismal performance of the DOTr from congestion to MRT breakdowns, (President ) Duterte should now consider a replacement for Secretary Tugade. One that could deliver. Otherwise, we might continue to experience what we are going through right now; MRT fiasco and traffic mess,” pahayag ni Magdalo Rep. Gary Alejano.
Sinabi ni Alejano na hindi na biro ang nangyayaring aberya sa MRT na ang panghuli ay ang paghiwalay ng dalawang bagon nito sa pagitan ng Ayala at Buendia stations kaya napilitan ang nasa 140 pasahero na maglakad sa tabi ng riles.
Ayon kay Alejano, hindi nararapat sa puwesto si Tugade dahil hindi nito binibigyang solusyon ang problema.
Dapat na rin umanong itigil ang palusot at turuan ng mga kinauukulang opisyal sa mga pagkakamali sa halip ay ang mga ito ang umaksyon para sa kaligtasan ng tinatayang 500,000 commuters kada araw na sumasakay sa tren.
Kamakalawa ay sinabi ng DOTr na ikinokonsidera nila ang pansamantalang pagpapatigil ng operasyon ng MRT 3 upang ayusin muna ang mga depekto ng mga bagon.
