MANILA, Philippines - Nagtalaga muna ng officer-in-charge si Pangulong Duterte sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) kapalit ni dating secretary Judy Taguiwalo na nabigong makalusot sa makapangyarihang Commission on Appointments.
Inihayag kahapon ni Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella na pangangasiwaan muna ni Social Welfare Undersecretary for Finance and Administration Emmanuel Leyco ang ahensiya.
Epektibo kaagad ang magiging trabaho ni Leyco bilang OIC ng DSWD.
“The Palace wishes to announce the designation of Mr. Emmanuel A. Leyco as the Officer-in-Charge of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) effective immediately.
Sinabi ni Abella na hindi na bago sa DSWD si Leyco dahil ito ang kasalukuyang undersecretary ng finance and administration ng ahensiya.
