MANILA, Philippines — Kahit bumaba ang kaniyang yaman kumpara sa nakaraang taon, nananatiling pinakamayaman pa rin sa Pilipinas si shopping mogul, Henry Sy.

Inilabas ng American business magazine Forbes ngayong Huwebes ang bagong listahan ng 50 richest Filipinos at ng kanilang mga pamilya kung saan siyam na taon nang hawak ni Sy ang pangunguna.

May net worth si Sy na $13.7 billion, mas mababa ito ng $0.7 billion kumpara noong nakaraang taon na $14.4 billion net worth.

Samantala, limang babae lamang ang nakasama sa listhan kabilang sina Mercedes Zobel, Betty Ang, Vivian Que Azcona, Beatrice Campos at Juliette Romualdez.

Si fast food businessman Edgar Sia naman ang pinakabata sa listahan sa edad na 39, habang si Rustans Group co-founder Bienvenido Tantoco Sr. ang pinakamatanda sa gulang na 95.
