P50K suweldo ng mga sundalo, pulis tuloy ngayong taon - Digong
MANILA, Philippines – Siniguro ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa mga sundalo at pulis na tuloy ang kanilang salary increase sa taong ito gaya ng kanyang ipinangako noong kampanya.
Nagtungo si Pangulong Duterte sa Zamboanga City kamakalawa matapos niyang dalawin din ang puwersa ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sa Basilan.
Magugunita na noong presidential campaign ay ipinangako ni Duterte na itataas nito sa P50,000 ang minimum na suweldo ng mga sundalo at pulis.
“I’d like to tell you that we will go ahead with the increases of the soldiers of the police and the military and that would include the PDEA and the law enforcement agencies such as the NBI. This will take effect this year. Dahan-dahan lang tayo kasi kung wala masyadong pera, remember that I entered the presidency mid-stream so I have to just make a go of what’s available but uunahin ko kayo,” pangako ni Pangulong Duterte sa mga sundalo sa pagdalaw nito sa Western Mindanao Command.
Hiniling din ni Duterte sa mga sundalo ang kanilang sakripisyo sa paglaban sa terorismo sa Mindanao.
