Mga mister na lalabag, puputulan ng kaligayahan…?
MANILA, Philippines - Pabirong sinabi kahapon ni incoming President Rodrigo Duterte na kanyang “puputulan ng kaligayahan” ang mga mister na gagawa ng lampas sa tatlong anak.
Ito ay matapos na ihayag ni Duterte, na seryoso ang kanyang liderato na ipatupad ang 3-child policy para sa isang mag-asawa.
Sinabi ni Duterte sa kanyang mensahe sa flag raising ceremony sa Davao City, suportado niya ang Responsible Parenthood sa kabila ng mahigpit na pagtutol dito ng Simbahang Katolika.
“I will reinstall the program of family planning. Tatlo tama na yan so social workers must be proactive. Better shape up. Wag na muna simbahan, away kami diyan e. Noon pa yan, it started during [President Fidel] Ramos’ time. He was the only president who fought for family planning. Pati ako binabangga ko.. family planning. Hindi na realistic e,” dagdag pa ni Duterte.
Kontra ang Simbahang Katolika sa abortion at paggamit ng contraceptives tulad ng pills at condoms.
Sinabi naman ni incoming NEDA chief Ernesto Pernia, isusulong ni Duterte ang ‘rapid and sustained implementation’ ng Responsible Parenthood at Reproductive Health Act.
“If you enable families to limit and phase their children to what they can afford and what they can provide for, then that’s going to have an effect on poverty and inequality,” ani incoming NEDA chief Pernia.
