History ng account ni Duterte dapat ding ilabas - Trillanes
MANILA, Philippines – Sa gitna ng ulat na bubuksan ni Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte sa publiko ang kanyang kontrobersiyal na bank account sa BPI Julia Vargas branch, sinabi ni Senator Antonio Trillanes IV na dapat isama ni Duterte sa ipapakita sa publiko ang history ng kanyang account.
Ayon kay Trillanes, hindi sapat na buksan ang “current account” dahil hindi naman dito makikita ang history kung kailan may pumasok na pera at kung kailan nagkaroon ng withdrawals.
Sinabi ni Trillanes na dapat isama ang history ng account sa nakalipas na siyam na taon.
“I was informed that Mayor Duterte would be represented by Atty. Panelo during Monday’s visit to BPI Julia Vargas branch. But just to be clear, the opening of the accounts should not be limited to the current account balance alone. It should also include the transaction history for the past nine years,” ani Trillanes.
Ipinunto ni Trillanes na tiyak na hindi makikita ang kabuuang halaga ng na-withdraw sa account kung ang ipapakita lamang ay ang “current account balance”.
“This is important because, if Duterte has already withdrawn the money before Monday, then the total amount of transactions would not be reflected on the current account balance,” ani Trillanes.
Matatandaan na ibinunyag ni Trillanes na may secret account si Duterte sa BPI Julia Vargas branch na may P211 milyon na hindi isinama ng ideklara niya ang kanyang statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN).
