BDO Leasing 2014 profits up

MANILA, Philippines - BDO Leasing and Finance Inc. (BDO Leasing), a subsidiary of BDO Unibank Inc. (BDO), has posted a 20 percent expansion in net income to P504 million in 2014. The strong performance was driven by the increase in lease and loan portfolio to P24 billion as the firm leveraged on its BDO’s extensive market reach. BDO Leasing provides its customers direct leases, real estate leases, sale and leaseback arrangements as well as receivables factoring. It likewise offers operating leases through its wholly owned subsidiary BDO Rental Incorporated. BDO Leasing is one of the industry’s dominant players in terms of total assets, capitalization and profitability.
