Palace names SBMA OIC

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT, Philippines – The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority has a new officer-in-charge.

Randy Escolango, SBMA deputy administrator for legal affairs, will assume the post to “ensure uninterrupted delivery of public service,” according to a memorandum issued by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea dated Oct. 19.

Escolango will replace former administrator Roberto Garcia who tendered his irrevocable resignation last week.

Garcia held the positions of chairman and administrator of SBMA until Martin Diño was appointed on Oct. 3. Ric Sapnu
