Seguridad batok CPP-NPA gihugtan
CEBU, Philippines — Hugot nga seguridad ang ipatuman sa tibuok Central Visayas sa posibleng pangatake sa mga sakop sa Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) atol sa ika-49 nga anibersaryo karong Disyembre 26.
Matud ni Major General Paul Atal, commander sa Armed Forces of the Philippines-Central Command (AFP-CENTCOM), nga layo pa lang giandaman na nila ang maong petsa.
"We should not be relaxed. We should be on heightened alert especially sa declaration of the President na terrorist na itong CPP-NPA. We must be alert and expect the worst case scenario," matud ni Atal.
Nunot usab kini sa pagpamanhig sa maong grupo sa kapolisan sa Camarines Norte diin nikalas og usa ka kinabuhi niadtong Disyembre 2 ug gisundan dayon sa pagpangatake sa maong grupo sa usa ka estasyonan sa polis sa Binuangan, Misamis Oriental diin nasamdan ang upat ka polis lakip na ang hepe nga si Senior Insp. Dante Hallazgo.
Gitataw ni Atal nga taliwala sa pagdeklarar ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte nga terorista ang maong grupo, abli gihapon sila sa pagsurender sa mga sakop niini.
"We can help them actually. It's more of returning and live a peaceful life and help in the development of the country kasi afterall we are all Filipinos," dugang sa heneral.
Samtang nangandam sab ang armadong kusog sa posibilidad nga makagawas paingon sa Central Visayas ang mga terorista gikan sa Marawi City ilabi na gilugwayan ang martial law sa Mindanao.
