KSPC may igong kuryente apan…
CEBU, Philippines - Ang KEPCO SPC Power Corporation (KSPC) nipahibalo nga aduna silay hustong supply sa kuryente nga makatabang sa kakuwang karon sa suplay sa Visayas human gitay-og sa 6.8 magnitude nga linog adtong Hulyo 6.
“We are exerting all efforts to hasten the preventive maintenance works so that our power plants can operate at its full 200 MW capacity and help stabilize the power supply in the Visayas,” matud pa ni Seoghee Yoo, ang KSPC Marketing Manager sa gipadala nga press statement kagahapong adlawa.
Ang KSPC tag-iya ug mao ang nag-operate sa 2 x 100 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant nga naa nahimutang sa Naga City, Cebu.
Ang usa sa duha ka power plants, ang Unit 1 nag-operate sa normal nga operasyon samtang ang Unit 2, gipaubos og preventive maintenance sugod Hunyo 28 ug maayo kini sa Hulyo 20.
Ang KSPC nagsuplay og kuryente sa Tacloban City sa Leyte, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Mactan Electric Company, Cebu Electric Cooperative Inc. I ug II ug sa lima ka electric cooperatives sa Negros Island Region.
Dugang pa sa KSPC nga bisan wala silay power supply contract sa Visayan Electric Company andam silang motagana pinaagi sa emergency power supply agreement ngadto sa VECO.
“KSPC generates the necessary capacity so that it can stabilize the Visayas grid, which is presently suffering from rotational load-shedding / power interruptions due to limited supply coming from the geothermal power plants in Leyte,” matud pa sa KPSC.
Giawhag usab sa KSPC ang National Grid Corporation of the Philippines nga dalion ang pag-ayo sa mga transmission lines padulong sa Leyte ug Bohol, aron padayon sila maka suplay og kuryente sa maong mga lugar. (BANAT NEWS)
