Pagprotektar sa Visayan Sea suportado
CEBU, Philippines - Nagkahiusa ang mga gobernador sa Visayas sa pagsuporta sa tinguha nga madeklarar ang Visayan Sea nga Natural and National Treasure of the Philippines ug dumalahon isip usa ka National Marine Reserve of Global Significance.
Sila si Gobernador Hilario Davide III sa Sugbo, Gob. Alfredo Marañon Jr. sa Negros Occidental ug Gob. Arthur Defensor Sr. sa Iloilo maoy nipirma sa suwat hangyo ngadto kang Presidente Rodrigo Duterte.

Sugyot ni Atty. Antonio Oposa, Jr., usa ka environmentalist, nga bahinon sa lainlaing zone ang Visayan Sea diin adunay pwede kapanagatan, may restoration zone, tourism zone ug no-take zone.
Nihangyo sab ang mga gobernador nga butangan og usa ka unit boat alang sa education, research ug monitoring sa Visayan Sea.
“We also respectfully request that a research and education boat of the BFAR be assigned permanently to the Visayan Sea. This will serve as the platform for the educational campaign that must be waged around the Visayan sea to make the people understand and begin to care,” tipik sa maong suwat ngadto sa presidente.
