1 dead in Ilocos road mishap

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A man died while another was seriously injured when a sport utility vehicle hit a parked motorcycle and an approaching tricycle along the highway in Barangay 35 Biloca, Batac City, Ilocos Norte on Thursday. ?

Carpenter Fidencio Isao, 44, the owner of the motorcycle, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.

Tricycle driver Glenn Christopher Ventoranza, 45, was brought to the same hospital for treatment.

The driver of the SUV, Kerr Nicole Tulia, 20, was arrested by responding policemen.
