Heart Evangelista launches her first children's book

MANILA, Philippines — Heart Evangelista has taken her drawing skills to another level by launching her first-ever children's book.

Titled "Daughter of the Sun and the Moon", the book which features her illustrations and designer-entrepreneur Rocio Olbes's writings is published and distributed in partnership with Dave Almarinez.

"The Beautiful Stranger" actress shared on Instagram the milestone in her life.

"A children’s book for a cause. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! 'Daughter of the Sun and the Moon'," the caption says.

Heart's supportive husband, Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero accompanied her at the event with her closest friends.

Part of the book sales will benefit the Blas F. Ople Policy Center, an organization that helps abused overseas Filipino workers.
