PeopleAsia’s most anticipated People of the Year awards night last Monday marked the beginning of another year of celebration.
The first major event in 2018 gathered the best and finest in different industries to immortalize who have made it to the prestigious list of “People of the Year.” Most stylish among those present include Kris Aquino, Bea Alonzo, PeopleAsia editor-in-chief Joanne Rae Ramirez, Dr. Vicki Belo, DIWA party-list Rep. Emmeline Aglipay-Villar, Liza Ilarde, Michelle Tan, Jo Ann Bitagcol, fashion designer Lu lu Tan-Gan, May Bernad, Issa Litton and Belinda Laker.
Everyone braved the streets and flocked to the Grand Ballroom of Sofitel Philippine Plaza dressed for this occasion. The standard red carpet rolled out and led everyone to a sparkling setting of immaculate refinement highlighted with more than a dozen crystal chandeliers.
The style meter was up once again as the parade of glittering gowns, shimmering sheer dresses and tailored pants fashioned the night with modern glamour. The dazzling night was filled with styles of all sorts showcasing the look of the times.
