A farewell dinner party in honor of outgoing British Ambassador Asif Ahmad was recently held at the Garden Ballroom of EDSA Shangri-La Manila in Mandaluyong City. The party was organized by Trina Davies OBE.
Members of the British diplomatic corps arrived in their formal party dresses and business suits and enjoyed the evening’s sumptuous banquet.
The well-loved ambassador, known for his fluency in Tagalog and penchant for football, was given a going-away party fit for a civil servant who truly made his mark on the Philippine diplomatic community.
Fare thee well, Ambassador Asif Ahmad, and many thanks for your invaluable contributions to the thriving relationship between our two nations!
