‘A work of heart’ oh yes,
Galleria Duemila Inc. owner and art director Silvana Ancellotti-Diaz was recently conferred with the prestigious award of “Cavaliere” in the Order of the Star of Italy by Italian Ambassador Massimo Roscigno, in a ceremony held at the ambassador’s opulent residence in Makati City.
The art connoisseur’s family, friends and colleagues from the art industry were present to witness the awarding ceremony. The Philippine-Italian Association board members, led by president Nedy Tantoco, as well as dignitaries from the Italian Embassy, also graced the once-in-a-lifetime event to honor a woman who has devoted her life to the promotion of art in the Philippines.
Holding the distinction of running one of the oldest galleries in the Philippines, the Italian-born beauty has spent most of her life championing the works of the country’s contemporary artists.
Congratulations to Silvana Ancellotti-Diaz for this well-deserved recognition!
A lovely dinner with Connie & Agile
Your columnist had the most wonderful time at an intimate Japanese dinner party organized by Connie Haw and Agile Zamora and a few other “Best Buddies” at Kimpura in Greenbelt 5, Makati City.
It is always a fantastic time whenever I get together with this fun group, whether at a formal party or a simple supper like this one.
Thank you for the treat and for a fun evening, ladies!
