Notable members of the diplomatic community recently gathered at the Marble Hall of the Bureau of the Treasury’s Ayuntamiento Building in Intramuros, Manila for the 50th anniversary of the International Bazaar Foundation Inc. (IBF).
The IBF, which works in cooperation with Spouses of Heads of Mission (SHOM), was founded with the mission to help change the lives of the marginalized sectors of society by generating charitable capital and providing services that contribute to the health and well-being of the communities it serves.
Led by then IBF overall chairperson Cecile Joaquin-Yasay, this year’s bazaar was titled “Partnership for a Cause” and was organized for the benefit of the government’s community-based drug recovery program. President Rodrigo Duterte sent his message and congratulatory remarks through Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella.
Congratulations to the International Bazaar Foundation!
