‘Nostalgia in every bottle’

MANILA, Philippines -  For individuals who prefer subtle scents that invite and entice others to come closer, the Clean Reserve line of fragrances is like a warm, familiar embrace.

For more than 10 years, Clean has been an innovator in the world of fragrance that works from a simple and eco-conscious philosophy. Greg Black, president of Fusion Brands America, the multi-national boutique luxury beauty firm that produces the line, shares, “Clean is a ‘non-perfumed’ perfume loved by those who don’t want an overpowering scent, and for those who don’t want to make a statement when they walk into a room. But they want to smell good for themselves and the people close by.”

Clean, which was established in 2003, was inspired by a bar of soap, but has since evolved to reflect a lifestyle of clean living. “Clean fragrances evoke simple and very familiar memories. They remind you of warm cotton, clean linens and fresh towels being pulled out from the dryer. It’s refreshing scents of simple everyday pleasures,” Black says.

The classic fragrances from the original House of Clean line have garnered their own cult following. But Clean has imagined new scents for the new generation. In its latest incarnation, the brand introduces Clean Reserve.

Scents & sensibility

“In this new generation, the Clean Reserve line includes nine fresh fragrances made from the perfumers’ reserve collections. In the same way that winemakers have their favorite, well-protected blends, the brand has its own distinguished artisanal collections made from higher quality ingredients. These help to create potent, sensual blends that leave a more lasting impression,” explains Black.

“We source our ingredients and materials through responsible means. Whether it’s ensuring that we replenish natural resources, harvesting and planting more responsibly, or supporting the communities and farmers by protecting their livelihoods, we take our promise of sustainability very seriously,” Black adds.

In fact, the brand’s partner manufacturing facilities are all 100 percent solar powered, ensuring that Clean is able to lower its carbon footprint to protect the earth. In addition, all product packaging, from the box to the cellophane, is biodegradable and recyclable — even the alcohol used for the perfume base is corn-derived.

Clean’s innovative scents capture “nostalgia in every bottle,” and fulfill a promise to give back in every way. The brand’s newest line is making a choice to change the way we “experience” fragrance.
