Bluer than Blue
One of the main color forecasts to make a big splash this year is blue. While we await the arrival of Spring/Summer, the global fashion’s relevant hue takes us to the sea with style splashing waves of ultra cool.
Hitting the breathtaking “see-shores” are refreshing aquatic tones that mimic the seascapes. Inspired by the skies and oceanic references, this spotlight primary color (from the lightest to the darkest) is upping your chic factor for the sizzling months ahead.
Pantone color of the year “Serenity” is an airy and relaxing mood tone that’s reflective of the beauty of the vast blue sky. Global fashion defines through color trending the concept of weightlessness and tranquility to ready-to-wear. The calm and sense-of-space vibe evokes a sense of realism and relevance to everyday wear.
Another hue under the spotlight is Snorkel Blue. Coming from the navy palette, this nautical-inspired tone evokes happiness and high energy with a statement mood of relaxation. Similar in aquatic origins, “Limpet Shell” (leaning towards the family of green) is a shade of aqua defined by clarity and freshness. The clean, natural and crisp tone reflects a sense of tranquility.
Overall, the color essence of fashion is declaring serene tones that go beyond trend forecasts. The relevance of the color of dressing rises above its surface mood and appeal but answers the call of the times.
