Perlas in Rizal for campaign sortie
By Dennis Carcamo (philstar.com) Updated April 15, 2010 09:56 AM Comments (0) View comments

MANILA, Philippines -- Independent presidential candidate Nicanor Perlas will begin his campaign sortie today in the province of Rizal.

Perlas and his campaign team will start from Lucban, Quezon, then will proceed to Infanta where he will meet with some of his supporters before proceeding to Rizal.

The Rizal leg will start at around 10 a.m. in Baras, and pass through the towns of Morong, Cardona, Binangonan, Angono, Taytay and Cainta.

The motorcade will also pass through Marikina City, the bailiwick of Bagumbayan vice presidential candidate Bayani Fernando.

Perlas's group will be capping its sorties in San Mateo and Rodriguez (formerly Montalban) later in the afternoon.
